Corrections, disputes, and removals
Islip Metro Foreclosure Attorney Guide is an independent directory of foreclosure attorneys operating in the Islip Metro area. Each listing draws from publicly available business information, and every score and review summary is generated by applying one fixed, published rubric to Google reviews. The directory is free to join. No payment changes your score or your ranking. This page explains how corrections work, how to challenge a score, and when listings are removed. See scoring method for the full scoring rubric.
Fixing factual details
Your name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services listed here may become out of date. We fix these fields when you provide the correct information along with proof we can verify, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once a correction is applied, it survives all future data refreshes so you will not see old information reappear.
Challenging a score
Scores are never edited by hand. If you believe your score is wrong, you are claiming that the underlying data is incorrect, such as your profile being matched to the wrong business, reviews being credited to you when they belong elsewhere, or a summary misrepresenting what reviewers actually wrote. When you file a dispute, we re-check the sources and rebuild your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number. It is a correction to the record itself.
Removing a listing
We remove listings for three reasons: the business has permanently closed, the listing is a duplicate of another entry, or the business falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification cycle automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your business is open and in scope, a removal request will be declined, and you will be told why.
